Former Salesforce chief scientist Richard Socher developed a new search engine named You.com. According to advertising, this search platform attracts interest as it designs to bring on other search engines, including Google.
The firm said the search engine would not depend on advertising for gain. It is made up of innovative and native language equipping for refined related search results.
Currently, the search website is live and is collecting entries to make availability early. According to the website, it provides privacy controls, allows users to improve their browsing experience, and that it will “not sell your information for publicity or will follow you around the rest of the Internet.” The company also said that users would fastly receive their concerning results while the paid content will get reliable results.
Besides ads, itis an AI-powered search platform. You.com will also propose experts’ analysis to let users the pros and cons of the products. There’s no certainty when You.com will step out of its beta testing condition and roll out commercially for people to assess.
Moreover, this new search engine provides relevant content to users which they are searching for. Google is a platform with search in the core and other products like Gmail, YouTube, Android, and many others to fortify its proximity. Google is such a platform that has billion search questions each day. You.com can never get the same popularity as Google has. However, it could remain as a niche search engine like DuckDuckGo.
It is unclear whether You.com will use a custom lackey for logging the world internet or use some other logging procedures.
