Apple has revealed it’s game subscription service Apple Arcade just after Google announced its Stadia game streaming service to compete in the streaming market. This subscription-based service provides on-demand access to over 100 new and exclusive games.
Apple has decided to work with and funding the developers to bring unique content to Apple Arcade. The company has promised to hand-pick all games new games arriving to keep the integrity of the service.
Moreover, it is being built with friendliness in mind so we should not expect any violent titles on this platform. To make it complete for gamers of all ages, the company is focusing on quality, creativity, originality, fun gamers. However, this doesn’t mean that upcoming games like Doom Eternal will never hit the Apple Arcade.
As Google Stadia keeps user inside chrome ecosystem, Apple Arcade game subscription service will keep the users to Apple family only such as iPhone, iPad, iPod etc. This won’t be accessible through any other devices.
The users just need a strong internet connection to play Apple Arcade games, do not worry if your device’s specifications are less to meet the game’s requirements.
Apple’s Subscription service won’t feature any ads or hidden costs, the company says that all the future games, features and content will be available with service’s subscription only.
To get access to Apple Arcade game subscription service will be simple, you only need to open the App Store and navigate to the Arcade section to play stuff. It is probably be launching this Autumn, Apple hasn’t said anything about its subscription pricing yet.
