As we all know, Apple OS updates typically always come with many bug fixes and patches. These patched and bug fixes enhanced the overall performance of Apple iPhones. But this time, the recent iOS update appears to have made big problems for many iPhone users worldwide. The latest Apple iOS 14.7.1 update launched a short while ago has been creating problems for iPhone users who upgraded their iPhones.
According to the discussions on the Apple support forum, many iPhone users have been objecting that iOS 14.7.1 has shattered their iPhones, resulting in a “no service” problem. This has resulted in users being incapable of connecting to cell service.
And Apple’s support forum is not the only place where users have been complaining. Similar issues were also spotted on threads on Apple’s developer forums.
According to a statement of a user on the Apple support forum,
“I have an iPhone 11, and I have installed iOS 14.4.7, and since then, I do not have the signal or cellular data. It is displayed ‘no service’ or ‘searching’. I tried many things like exchange the SIM, eSIM, reset network settings, erase all content and settings….same issues. It seems that it is a hardware problem (motherboard) that Apple probably knows, or this version of iOS has some bugs. Do you have any idea how to fix it except that proposed by our local service to buy a new phone?”
Another user noted on the Apple Developer forum,
“I updated my software to 14.7.1 recently and lost my cellular data completely. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps and still cannot get it to work.”
According to reports issued by ZDNet, iPhones are affected due to this iOS 14.7.1 update in different formats. Reports further added that the iPhone 6 to iPhone 12 devices are getting impacted due to this latest iOS 14.7.1 update. Consequently, the only common element between all these devices experiencing the problem is the iOS 14.7.1 update.
However, Apple has provided a list of different solutions on its support page, such as rebooting, eliminating and reinserting the SIM card, etc. Nevertheless, it seems that all these solutions are not working out for iPhone users. Moreover, the Cellular service providers have been incapable of helping.
For the moment, there is no solution for this issue, and all iPhone users need to wait for the California-based Cupertino giant to reveal a patch.
Moreover, in case you are one of them who have not updated to the latest iOS 14.7.1. We recommend you wait until the company launches an update. However, if you are one of them that your device breakdowns like it have occurred for others, there’s barely anything that you can do.
