As we know every upcoming device of Apple got rumors. Now, its iPhone 13 lineup is in wraps of leaks. Leaks are revealing much information about the product as it approaching the launch date. While the company has yet disclosed any information about its smartphone.
Apple is going to impart a 120Hz display to iPhone 13, as per TheElec‘s report. The Korean-tech giant Samsung will be the single provider of the 120Hz displays that will be used in the premium models of the iPhone 13 lineup, mentioned in the report. Notably, the report doesn’t refer to the Pro variants. It can be safe to say that the new 120Hz refresh rate displays will be set aside for iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro.
The 120Hz means the refresh rate of the screen. In other words, a higher refresh rate means that the screen would be able to refresh 120 times per second. A 120Hz display refreshes more fastly as compared to a 60Hz panel (supported on the latest iPhone 12 lineup). You can expect greater battery life on smartphones, while mobile games look ravishing on a 120Hz panel.
According to analysts, the entire smartphone market is more inclined toward the high refresh rate displays. The tech giants like Xiaomi, Samsung, and OnePlus already offer mid-to-premium smartphones with a 120Hz display.
Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro series is likely to wield Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide (LPTO) Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) OLED panel. Cupertino’s analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that the upcoming iPhone 13 lineup can use LTPO tech.
Moreover, the iPhone 13 lineup is likely to feature a smaller notch and better cameras on premium variants. Four variants are expected to include in the iPhone 13 lineup. They would be iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 Mini. The hit smartphone series of Apple expected to release in September.
