The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) of 2022 will be back on track to its original venue in Las Vegas and will be scheduled as an in-person event in January 2022. The CES 2022 will be conducted from January 5 to January 8, with media days held between January 3 to January 4.
CES 2020 was the last tech show that was conducted in person. And the later tech shows like MWC 2020 (Mobile World Congress) had to be either called off or conducted virtually.
In 2021, the trend continued for all big events as many states face the displeasure of the pandemic, and in-person shows still unsafe.
The other firms and consumers will make the most of the event as the CES 2022 heading back to Las Vegas. The Cnet report suggests that about 1,000 firms such as Dell, AMD, Qualcomm, Intel, AT&T, Hyundai, IBM, Daimler AG, LG, Panasonic, Lenovo, Google, Amazon, Sony, and Samsung will include.
Gary Shapiro, the association’s president, and CEO said;
“We’re excited to return to Las Vegas — home to CES for more than 40 years — and look forward to seeing many new and returning faces. Hundreds of executives have told us how much they need CES to meet new and existing customers, find partners, reach media and discover innovation”.
Moreover, the CES 2022 attendees will be part of the event digitally too. However, the more concrete plans for the event will be according to safety precautions set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
