The Tesla boss Elon Musk come down in favor of “Fortnite” on Friday in Apple-Epic battle. Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer is supporting “Fortnite” maker Epic Games that has challenged Apple’s fees on its App Store.
According to a tweet posted by Tesla Inc Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk,
“Apple app store fees are a de facto global tax on the Internet. Epic is right.”
The California-based Cupertino tech giant, Apple is fighting a lawsuit filed the previous year by Epic Games. Epic Games claims that the iPhone maker has offended its supremacy in the market for mobile applications. Epic breach Apple’s policies when it launched its own in-app payment system in “Fortnite” to evade Apple’s commissions.

The Californa-based Cupertino giant, Apple which has safeguarded its App Store acts both in court and to lawmakers in hearings, did not take action immediately to a Reuters demand for comment.
Apart from this, Elon Musk rejected a report that he once had a chat with Apple boss Tim Cook linked to a potential purchasing of the electric carmaker and taking over as the CEO of iPhone maker.
According to another tweed of the Musk,
“There was a point where I requested to meet with Cook to talk about Apple buying Tesla. There were no conditions of acquisition proposed whatsoever. He refused to meet”

Earlier this week, Musk took shots at Apple on Tesla’s call with Wall Street analysts, blaming the organization’s “walled garden” or its firmly restrained tech ecosystem and its usage of cobalt, a key mineral for making lithium-ion batteries.
