iOS 15 Public Beta?
The iOS 15 public beta is for testing purposes, so you can report any bugs it has directly to Apple; I’ll show you that as well. So by this, keep in mind your device might start working as it’s not supposed to, meaning some of the apps might not work because of compatibility issues or just crash on the latest iOS 15 public beta.

I am currently running on iOS 15 developer beta on which I am going to install iOS 15 public beta. Now, if you previously had installed iOS 14 public beta, you’ll see an installed profile in the settings -> general, under the VPN.
If you see the profile here, tap on it, and delete it. Your device will ask to restart it, do it. Also if you’re on iOS 15 developer beta, delete the iOS 15 beta profile if you installed that so you can install the latest iOS 15 public beta.
How To Download & Install iOS 15 Public Beta
Open the Safari browser, not any other browser, to download the iOS 15 public beta.
Go to this official website for iOS 15 beta profile download, beta.apple.com, which states Apple Beta Software Program. It’s the official Apple website and completely secure to visit.
Scroll down and tap on the SignUp button.
I’ll Signup using the iCloud account already signed on my device. It’s compulsory to signup here to download the iOS 15 public beta profile. Once you tap on the Signup, it’ll ask you to put in the password or faceid or touched to authenticate your iCloud account. It’s completely safe because it’s Apple’s official website.
After you’re logged in, you’ll be redirected to Guide for public beta page.
Here you’ll see the iOS is by default selected to install on iPhones. But if you’re installing the iOS 15 public beta on iPad, then select the iPadOS section, or if you’re installing it on Apple TV, then select TvOS and so on. I am installing iOS 15 public beta on iPhone, so I am not changing anything.
Scroll down, and here you see the Get Started section.
In this paragraph, there is a link on the enroll your iOS device. It’s the iOS 15 beta download link. Tap on this link; then, on the next page, you’ll enroll your device to download the iOS 15 public beta profile.
They have mentioned archiving a backup; it’s recommended that you take a complete backup of your device before you install the iOS 15 public beta on your device to avoid any data loss.
Take iCloud Complete Backup Before Installing iOS 15 Public Beta
Let me just quickly show you how you can quickly make a backup of your device, go to settings, tap on the name section at the top, go into iCloud, scroll down, tap on iCloud backup, on the next page, tap on Back UP Now to take a complete backup of your device. Data loss is not likely, but you can lose, so it’s better you take a backup before you install the iOS 15 public beta.
Go back to the safari browser; If you scroll down a little more, you see a section to install profile.
Tap on the download profile button, its iOS 15 public beta profile, then tap on Allow button in the popup. The profile will be downloaded in your device’s settings.
Go to the settings; at the top under your name, you’ll see a section named Profile Downloaded.
Tap on that; it’s an iOS 15 public beta profile signed by apple. Tap on the install button at the top, insert the passcode if it asks, then again, tap on the install button on the consent message page at the top, then again on this install button.
The profile will be installed on your device; tap on the Done button at the top once the iOS 15 public beta profile is installed. You’ll be asked to restart your device, do it.
And also, keep in mind you only need to install the beta profile once to get all the next coming public betas for iOS 15; every time a new beta is out, that will be populated inside Software Update as long as the public beta iOS 15 profile is installed on your device, you can download and install, No need to install the beta profile again until iOS 16 beta comes out.

Now go into Software Update in the Settings and in General; there, after checking for updates, you’ll see the latest iOS 15 public beta to download and install.
You may have to restart your device if this latest update doesn’t show up, restart and you’ll have it here.
Before you tap on the download and install button here, make sure you have at least 5-6 GBs of space available on your device to download as it’s a big file.
Also, make sure you have enough charging on your device, or it’s connected with the charger and with the Wifi as well. It’s not recommended to download it through mobile data.
Tap on the download and install button and it’ll start downloading; it’s a huge file and will take some time to download depending on your internet connection speed.
Once it is downloaded, it’ll be installed as well. This is how to install iOS 15 public beta on iPhone or any other device. You can enjoy this latest version but with bugs in it that you can report.
As the iOS 15 public beta is successfully installed on my device, not every application will work because all the apps developers haven’t updated the apps to work on iOS 15.
How To Report Bugs To Apple from iOS 15 Public Beta?
On your home screen, you’ll see an extra icon named feedback.
This is what you can use to report bugs you find in this iOS 15 public beta directly to Apple. You might face many issues in your device having this public beta; you can report them.
You can downgrade the iOS 15 to iOS 14 if you don’t like the beta version and want to install iOS 15 when the stable version comes out officially.
