Hey guys! you must be a jailbreak user that’s why you are here and probably you are jailbroken with checkra1n jailbreak and looking to set a passcode on your A11 devices iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. This is the main issue with checkra1n jailbreak that you cannot enable the passcode on A11 devices after you’re jailbroken with checkra1n jailbreak iOS 14.8 on A11 devices which are iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
It’s one of the most annoying things in checkra1n that you have to disable the faceid, touch id, and the passcode first if enabled. Later after the checkra1n jailbreak, you aren’t able to set the passcode on A11 devices. If you try to set it, the device will suddenly restart or it’ll crash your jailbreak.
In this guide, I’ll show you two methods for how to set a passcode on A11 checkra1n jailbreak devices which is not usually possible using checkra1n passcode tweak.
However, this isn’t the problem with unc0ver jailbreak or Taurine jailbreak users, it is with the checkra1n users only.

How to set a passcode on checkra1n jailbreak A11 devices with Check4Round tweak
Step 1. Add this repo in Cydia
Open Cydia, tap on Edit at the top, then on add button, add this repo https://plat-ykor.yourepo.com in the popup.
We’ll use this source to download checkra1n passcode tweak.
Step 2. Install check4round checkra1n passcode tweak
Go inside the added repo, tap on Tweaks or All Packages, there inside you’ll find a tweak named check4round.
Tap on it and install it on your device, once it’s installed then respring your device from the screen. we’ll use this passcode tweak to set a passcode on A11 devices with checkra1n.
Step 3. Find check4round passcode tweak
Go to settings, scroll down to the all tweaks section.
If you do not find the check4round passcode tweak to set a passcode on A11 devices, it happens sometimes, you need to install another tweak so that you find it there in the settings.
Step 4. Install preference loader tweak
Go to Cydia and install the preference loader through the search bar in Cydia.
It is only for those how aren’t able to find the tweaks section in the settings. After you install it, you’ll find the check4round tweak in the settings which we’ll use to set a passcode on A11 devices with checkra1n.
Step 5. Set a passcode on checkra1n jailbroken device
Go to the settings again and find the check4round tweak.
This time you’ll get it in the settings, open the check4round tweak. It will show you a popup with some info, the main thing to note is, you can only use this tweak to set a passcode on A11 devices with checkra1n. You cannot set the touch Id or FaceId with this passcode tweak. Tap on the Thank You button to disappear the dialog box.

Tap on it, and enable all three toggles, you can also read what those toggles are for.
After you lock the screen, your device will ask you to put in the passcode to unlock it even if you haven’t set the passcode yet after enabling the toggles. The default passcode is 1234, use it to unlock your device.
You can set the custom passcode on A11 devices as well, tap on set passcode under the three toggles and set your passcode, and tap on the Save button in the pop-up.

This was the first method to enable passcode on checkra1n iPhone 8 / 8 Plus / iPhone X with check4round tweak.
Below is the second method which does work the same as the default iPhone passcode, but you have to be a Patreon member of the developer to get it, and it’s still in the beta stage and still being developed.
Hopefully, it will be developed to support FaceId and TouchId as well. Currently, it can only be used to enable passcode on A11 devices.
With that said, it’s not a free method and costs you $2 per month to get it, but you not only get this only tweak but there are also multiple tweaks you get in the package.

How To Enable Passcode on A11 Checkra1n Jailbroken iPhone 8 / 8 Plus / iPhone X with the lockdown-releases tweak
Step 1. Developer’s Patreon
As said earlier, you need to be a Patreon member of the developer to get it, if you aren’t you can be first.
Step 2. Developer’s discord server access
After that, you get access to the discord server of the developer from where you can find all the tweaks downloads come in the $2 package.
Step 3. Get passcode tweak .deb file
To get passcode-related tweak, tap on lockdown-releases, and on the next page tap on the .deb file. Tap the latest available version or lockdown releases tweak.
After that, you’ll have the option to open Sileo to install on your device. If you do not find the option to open in Sileo, you need to then install the Zebra on your device if you have Cydia on your device and you’re not seeing open in Cydia option. Or you simply install Sileo on the checkra1n jailbroken device using odysseyra1n, then proceed to the installation.
Step 4. Set passcode on A11 device
It won’t automatically enable the passcode, just after the respring, go to the settings -> face id & passcode -> tap on turn passcode on.
Choose your passcode for your device, currently, this lockdown-releases tweak doesn’t support faceid or touchid, but works fine to enable passcode on A11 checkra1n jailbreak devices.
This is how to set a passcode on A11 iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X devices with checkra1n with check4round tweak, and with lockdown-releases tweak.
This is impossible normally with checkra1n jailbreak on A11 devices, which are iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
Remember that these Cydia tweaks can only enable the passcode on A11 devices, not the touch id or face id, if the checkra1n jailbreak is the only option for you to jailbreak then these are the only option to enable the passcode on A11 iPhone as well.
