What is TrollStore for iPhone?
TrollStore is a third-party app store that lets you install or sideload the IPA apps permanently without revokes on iOS 14 and iOS 15.
It would help if you remembered that Linus Henze discovered the CoreTrust bug.
The TrollStore app uses the same CoreTrust bypass and allows you to sideload apps on all Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, and more. But some conditions depending on which iOS version you’re on; more on that later in this guide below.

The TrollStore app supports iOS 14 to iOS 15.4.1 (iOS 15.5 beta 1 – 15.5 beta 4) and (iOS 15.6 beta 1 – 15.6 beta 5) as well currently.
For iOS 14.0 – iOS 14.8.1 (only A8 – A11) trollstore is supported on jailbreak-supported devices only; you need to be jailbroken if you’re on any of the iOS 14 firmware versions mentioned devices
But if you’re on any iOS 14 version (only A12-A15 devices) then you need to use the arm64e trollstore no PC method; more on its installation is detailed below.
You don’t need to be jailbroken to install TrollStore on iOS 15 – iOS 15.4.1 (iOS 15.5b1 – b4 and iOS 15.6b1 – b5). Its installation steps are also covered below as well.
Check here how to install blizzard board themes without jailbreak on iOS 15 devices.
But before I jump into installing the TrollStore app, let’s see how the TrollStore app works to install the apps permanently, which wasn’t even possible before for free!
How TrollStore app works to install permanent IPA apps on iPhone?
The newly built store uses ldid package to install the unsigned IPA apps on your device. The developer has added two utilities in the app settings; one is to respring the device, and the other is to rebuild the icon cache.
So, when the iOS rebuilds the icon cache, the apps you have installed through the TrollStore app on your device will disappear, including the TrollStore. In this case, you need to replace the system app in the rootless environment.
This is built-in in the store; you can select any system app you do not use to replace it with the persistent helper, which can refresh the icons for the apps installed with the TrollStore. How would you do that? I have explained that step by step in detail with the images below.
So now, if all the confusion is gone regarding the TrollStore, let’s see how to install TrollStore on iPhone.
I have covered both methods: installing TrollStore on iOS 14 and TrollStore on iOS 15. Methods to Install it on both versions are completely different, so follow the one according to your device’s version below.
Let’s start with the iOS 15 – iOS 15.5 (15.5b4) version devices with Troll Store NO PC method.
Also see here how to download winra1n windows to jailbreak iOS 15 – 16 devices without bootable USB on Windows PC.
Install TrollStore NO PC on ALL devices running iOS 14 – 15.4.1 (15.5b1 – b4) and (15.6b1- b5)
This method to install TrollStore no PC is for users on all devices, but use the correct link to install on iOS 14 – iOS 15.4.1 (15.5b1 – b4) and (15.6b1- b5) firmware versions. This method requires no PC, all the steps must be done from your device.
Step 1. Go to jailbreaks.app
First, read the above instruction for your device, then tap on the supported link accordingly, here is the arm64 link https://api.jailbreaks.app/troll and here is the arm64e link https://api.jailbreaks.app/troll64e.
Step 2. Install Trollstore No PC
As you do to the above-mentioned link, it’ll show you a prompt to install, tap on the install button and an app will be downloaded on your device’s home screen. This will be named GTA Car Tracker, don’t worry, it’s just named this way.
Now open the GTA Car Tracker app, trust the app if it asks, and tap on the Install Trollstore button. This will install trollstore no PC, also it’ll run the respring once it’s done so you can find the installed app on the home screen.
Step 3. Install ldid and persistence helper app
Now open the installed trollstore and go to the settings tab, first install the ldid, once it’s done, now tap on install persistence helper app. Here it’ll pop up the native iOS app on your device, just tap an app that you DO NOT USE.
That app will be set as a persistence helper app which you need to open after your device reboots so that you can use the installed apps even after the reboot, this is a permanent installation of the IPA apps on your iPhone or iPad.
This is how to install trollstore without computer on all devices running iOS 14 – 15.4.1 (15.5b4) also iOS 15.6 beta 1 – iOS 15.6 beta 5 versions.
But, how do you install permanent IPAs with TrollStore? That is covered below after the section to install TrollStore iOS 14. If I put that here, that would make the content duplicate; if you are on iOS 15 and installed the troll store, go below in this guide to the section to install permanent IPA on iPhone with Troll Store.
[Video] Troll Store iOS 15 NO PC
Below is the method to install trollstore iOS 14 – 14.8.1 on jailbroken iPhones or iPad.
How to install TrollStore iOS 14 – 14.8 on Jailbroken iPhone/iPad
Now let’s see how to install TrollStore on iOS 14 devices; you might wonder why there is a separate section for iOS 14. Here I have covered two methods to install troll store iOS 14 on a jailbroken device. One is to install .deb file, and another one is through Havoc repo.
Installing TrollStore on iOS 14 devices involves completely different steps, and you also need to be jailbroken to have it; otherwise, you cannot install it.
Step 1. Jailbreak your device
Jailbreaking your device is mandatory to install TrollStore iOS 14; you can jailbreak your device either with unc0ver jailbreak or checkra1n jailbreak. If you’re on iOS 14.3 or up, checkra1n jailbreak is recommended as it supports till iOS 14.8.1.
Here are the jailbreak tutorials links, here are unc0ver jailbreak, checkra1n for mac, and checkra1n for windows jailbreak guides.
Also, here is checkra1n for the windows NO USB method as well; jailbreak your device, install Cydia and then follow the next step.
Step 2. Install Filza on your jailbroken device
After the jailbreak, open the Cydia app and install the Filza tweak on your device. For that, please go into Cydia’s search tab, search for Filza File Manager, and install it.
Step 3. Download TrollStore Helper .Deb file for iOS 14
Now you need to download the TrollStore helper .deb file, which you’ll install using the Filza file manager. Here is the download link to the TrollStore helper .Deb file.
Step 4. Install TrollStore .Deb file with Filza on iPhone
The Deb file will be downloaded on your browser; I downloaded it using the Safari browser. As you can see the downloaded icon is at the top of the browser, tap on that and then tap on the downloaded deb file.
Once you do that, please tap on the share option at the top of the next page, and open it in the Filza app.
Once you select the Filza app, it’ll be in the filza app in front of you. Tap on the added file, and tap on the install button at the top; it’ll install TrollStore .deb file in a couple of seconds.
At this stage, the TrollStore helper won’t show on your device’s home screen. You need to respring and run the uicache for TrollStore to show, following the next step.
Step 5. Install Troll Store through Havoc Repo
Open Cydia or Sileo, and add Havoc Repo to it. Here is the link to Havoc Repo, add it in the sources section in Cydia/Sileo.
Open Cydia -> go to sources -> tap on add to add the repo.
After the repo is added, go to the search bar and type TrollStore Helper and install it on your device, once it’s installed, open it and tap on the Install TrollStore button.
Step 6. TrollStore not showing? Respring and run UI Cache on the device
Once the deb file is installed, don’t close the Filza app; tap on the action at the top; here, you’ll see multiple options. Select the respring first; your device will respring the same way as it does while installing the tweaks.
After the respring, if it doesn’t show the TrollStore helper icon, open the filza again, go to the same options, and tap on the UI Cache option to run the UI Cache; after its done, you’ll see the helper app on the home screen.
Keep in mind, there are chances the app is installed correctly, but it’s instead on the home screen, showing in the App Library, so do not forget to check it in the App Library, check the picture below.
Step 6. Trust the TrollStore helper app to open
Go to settings -> General -> Device management -> tap on your Apple Id and trust the TrollStore helper app; then, you can open the helper app.
Step 7. Install the TrollStore app on an iOS 14 device
Open the TrollStore helper app and tap on the install TrollStore button to install it on your device, it won’t take too long to install it, and you’ll have it on your device’s home screen.
This is how to install the TrollStore app on iOS 14 – iOS 14.8.1 devices to install IPA files permanently on iPhones or iPad. The IPA installation steps are detailed below after Troll Store iOS 15 IPA installation section.
[Video] Install Troll Store iOS 14 – 14.8.1 on Jailbroken iPhone
How to install TrollStore IPA on iOS 15 – 15.4.1 on iPhone/iPad
To install TrollStore on iOS 15 firmware devices, you need to sideload the TrollStore helper IPA file in your device, then from that TrollStore app will be installed.
You can use altstore to sideload the IPA or any other IPA installer to sideload the TrollStore helper IPA file.
I am using the sideloadly for it.
Step 1. Download TrollStore helper IPA
First, Download the TrollStore helper IPA file on your computer; you can download it from here.
Step 2. Download and install Sideloadly
Now, go to the sideloadly official website, download the sideloadly on your computer and install it. Download the sideloadly according to the OS you’re using, either Mac or Windows.
Step 3. Install iTunes & iCloud (for Windows users only)
If you’re using a Windows PC, you need to have the latest iTunes and iCloud versions installed on your device, which must be installed through the Apple website, not the Microsoft store.
If you have iTunes from Microsoft on your PC or don’t have it, here is the direct download link to iTunes and the direct download link to iCloud from Apple’s website. Just skip the 5-sec ad, and it’ll start the download. Install iTunes and iCloud and restart your PC. It’s a must; otherwise, sideloadly may cause issues.
Step 4. Connect your device with a PC and recognize it in Sideloadly
Connect your device with the PC and open the sideloadly; see at the top dropdown that it must show the attached device’s name, see the image below.
If sideloadly shows any error in recognizing your device properly, unlock your device and hit the trust button in the popup. Then it’ll recognize the device.
Step 5. Sideload TrollStore helper IPA with sideloadly
Once the device is recognized, type your Apple Id in the field, TrollStore app will be signed using this Apple id; put in the same which is already signed in on your device.
After that, click on the IPA icon and select the downloaded TrollStore helper IPA file.
Now click on the start button; it’ll ask you to put in your Apple id’s password, and the TrollStore helper app will start installing on your device.
Once the helper app is installed, then using it, I’ll install the TrollStore app on my device; follow the steps below.
Step 6. Trust the TrollStore helper to open
As the helper app is sideloaded on iOS 15 devices, it won’t open directly as you need to trust it first.
For that, go into the Settings app -> General -> Device management -> tap on your Apple id and trust the app; after that, it’ll open from the home screen.
Step 7. Install the TrollStore app on an iOS 15 device
Once the helper app is installed and trusted, now I’ll install the TrollStore app on my iPhone.
Open the helper app, and tap on the install TrollStore button; it’ll take just a little time, and a popup will show that the TrollStore is installed successfully on your device.
Remember that it may not work on the first attempt, or your device even may restart. If either of these happens, try again to install the TrollStore, and it’ll work fine.
Step 8. TrollStore is not showing on the home screen
On an iOS 15 firmware device, if the TrollStore app is not showing on the home screen after the installation, you need to reboot your device, and then you’ll find it on the home screen.
Below I have shared how to install permanent IPA apps with Troll Store. These steps are identical for both Troll Store iOS 15 and Troll Store iOS 14. This is why I have written the permanent IPA installation steps at last.
How To Set Persistence Helper System App in Trollstore
But before you head over to the IPAs installation, there is a critical step to perform, which, if you do not, you won’t be able to install permanent IPAs with the TrollStore. If that’s the case, what’s the use of installing this store? So follow me in the below section.
Step 1. Install ldid in TrollStore settings
Open the TrollStore app, go to the settings, and first tap on the install ldid button.
Step 2. Install persistence helper
After the ldid, tap on the install persistence helper button right below the ldid section. This is very important to do to let the sideloaded IPA apps with TrollStore work permanently even after the restart.
Once you tap on the install persistence helper button, it’ll show you the list of the system apps. Here you need to select the app you do not use, which could be any you don’t use. Once you choose any native iOS app, it’ll be set as the persistence helper.
This is an essential step to take, and why so? This will be used to let the IPA files work even after the restart. How you’d do that? It is covered below at the end because its use is later, but we need to perform it right after the TrollStore installation.
Okay, now the final part is how to permanently install IPA apps with TrollStore; let’s do it. This also goes the same for both iOS 14 and iOS 15 devices.
How to install/sideload permanent IPA files with TrollStore iOS 14/15
Step 1. Download the IPA file to your device
To install IPA files with the TrollStore, you must have the IPA file on your device. You can get the IPA library from Google.
I already have downloaded the unc0ver IPA file on my device, and I am using it to let you know how to sideload apps.
Step 2. Install / Sideload IPA files permanently with TrollStore
Once the IPA file is downloaded in your browser, tap on the download icon, and tap on the IPA file. Once you do it, tap on the share button at the top, and share it to open in the Troll Store.
As you do it, wait a little while, and you’ll see the installed IPA file in the Apps section in the TrollStore. Make sure you’re in the Apps section, not the Settings section of the store; the app might freeze then.
Once you see the installed IPA in the Apps section, that means the IPA is installed, and you’ll find it on your device’s home screen.
Now you can use the installed app, but wait for a second! What if the device is restarted? Will the app work fine after the restart? Well, not right after the restart, but after performing one step, and then, yes, the app will work fine. Follow the steps below.
Update Trollstore on iPhone
Go to TrollStore settings, there at the top, you’ll see an install button whenever a new TrollStore update is available. Once you tap on the install button, the Troll Store will itself download, install, and update the TrollStore, also it’ll do the respring.
But just in case you’re facing any issues and updating is not happening, you can download TrollStore.tar file, you can get that from here.
Open it in the trollstore to update Troll Store. It’ll install the latest version and respring your device.
How to use Troll Store installed IPA apps after the restart?
Step 1. Open the persistence set app
Remember, I set an app as a persistence helper app in TrollStore settings? Just open that app on your device after the reboot.
Step 2. Refresh App Registrations
Once you open that app, you’ll see that the TrollStore helper is opened instead. Now, tap on the Refresh App Registration button.
Once you do it, your device will respring, and that’s it! All the installed apps with TrollStore will work fine, with no revocation.
How to Delete an installed IPA App from Troll Store
Just like other AppStore apps, deleting an app installed through trollstore isn’t the same.
To delete an app, open trollstore, there you’ll see all the installed apps. Put the thumb on the app you want to delete and slide to the left side, there you’ll see the delete option at the right.
Tap on that to delete the app and it’ll be removed from your device. See the image below.
Conclusion
This is how to install TrollStore on iOS 15 with NO PC / NO Computer method. And Install Troll Store iOS 14 with TrollStore helper on Jailbroken device and install IPA apps permanently on iPhone.
Different methods are used to install it on iOS 14 and iOS 15 firmware devices, but the IPAs installation steps are the same as well as the process to let the installed IPA work permanently is identical as well.
Thanks to TrollStore developers, not the jailbreak developers, because it’s the coolest thing to exist right now for Apple device users.
