A few hours ago, The Resident Evil Village showcase took place. This resulted in various news regarding the next installment in the horror franchise. One huge reveal was that a new Resident Evil Village demo will be launched at the beginning of May. Including PC, it will be available for all platforms. You can watch its new trailer.
Opposite to the previous PlayStation-only demo of The Resident Evil Village, the one that drops at 5 PM PDT on May 1 (North America), has arrived on Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and PS5. Its limited time allows you to check out village areas and castles for just 60 minutes.
PS4 and PS5 owners will get access to the new demo places soon. The Village section arrives on April 17 (5 PM PDT), while the castle part will come on April 24 (5 PM PDT). Both will be available for only eight hours while players are given just 30 minutes to explore.

Capcom also unveiled The Mercenaries bonus mode is again added in the Resident Evil Village, allowing the same arcade-like experience seen in old Resi titles. Also, players can purchase items and updates from Duke’s Emporium, as with the main game. Moreover, weapon customization and special features have also been provided. The Mercenaries mode will provide many hours of entertainment when you are done with the solo campaign
Capcom is showing off the hype as the village’s release date is getting closer. More gameplay footage was released at the start of this month which confirmed the camera mode. Also, the company is using life-size cutouts of internet favorite Lady Dimitrescue in its promotional campaign.
