Following the footprints of PS5 and RTX 3080, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X was out of stock even more vigorously than Sony’s. Instead of putting an order for Xbox Series X, people, and bot, they pre-ordered similar gen Microsoft’s Xbox One X, just messing up the names.
Following the footprints of PS5 and RTX 3080, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X was out of stock even more vigorously than Sony’s. Yesterday, the race to make individual pre-orders stroked the sites. Seemingly, people got messed up between two worlds, “Series” and “One.”
This year, with the advent of next-generation consoles, Sales of the Xbox One X were found to be declined shortly. So it’s weird to see it rising to 747 percent as shown by Amazon’s Movers & Shaker’s charts- where it was settled at a fourth spot once. And now, the XOX is at number 30.
Xbox One X sales rank is up 747% on Amazon lol…

Due to the resemblance of the consoles’ names, and trouble in distinguishing the Amazon thumbnails, it is noted that some people got confused. Hence, they will buy Xbox One X by mistake. Parents who are less tech-savvy could easily mess up, as could those madly trying to get a Series X in stock and get shocked when receiving its predecessor. When accidentally ordered an XOX, a twitter user confessed to being “half asleep.”
Amazon is also messing up things; when someone types “Xbox Series X” into the search box, many Xbox One X underneath the XSX appear. As the later is currently “out of stock.”
It is the thing to think that bots incapable of making the difference between the two machines and snapped up the Xbox One X. They have habits to hold many PS5 and RTX 3080 units that were ended up on another site, such as eBay. However, Nvidia tried to fix the problem in its official warehouse, at least.
However, there is good news for those who have made this mistake, Amazon promises the customers to return Xbox One X consoles with all money back.
