Xiaomi has recently announced that it is going to launch the latest Mi Pad 5 series in the coming week in China. The Chinese smartphone maker further said that it will roll out these devices in a launch event. The Mi Mix 4 smartphone is also expected to roll out in this event.
According to a report issued by Mashable India, the Chinese tech giant took to its formal Weibo post and discussed that Mi Pad 5 is going to come on 10th August. The company is further expected to “showcase the Mi Mix 4 – its latest concept flagship with a creative full-screen design” in that event.
The news has reached a couple of days after leaks appeared that Xiaomi is going to return to the tablet segment and undertake the likes of Samsung, Apple, and Huawei in the premium space.
According to Mashable India, it is also confirmed through the launch invites that the Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi is going to launch Mi Pad 5 with the support of stylus input. Mashable India further added that the company can announce the latest stylus at the event as well.
As per the reports, there will be three models in the Mi Pad 5 family with separate prices. All three would have three chipsets, with the base variant anticipated to be backed by the Snapdragon 860. On the other hand, the others might utilize the Snapdragon 870 with the top model even providing 5G.
According to Mashable India, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5,
“is said to come with a 2K LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a large 8,720mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, and a dual-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor”.
